Well, I have made a grand decision and it has been executed...

I've basically come to a conclusion that I'm going to put an end to my Verselus journal fairly soon. I've come to a point where I think a major door is closing on my life and a new one will be opening. This happened once upon a time with my other journals genevievechat and moon_wise_muse. It's Verselus' time to be put to rest now.

He's been a great asset to me in my transition from college graduate to soldier in the optical work force. He was there for when Pete and I were separated, and of course, my grand Crohn's diagnosis and those initial and unforgettable (although I wish I could) trips to the hospital. I have dreams come true and lost loved ones through this journal and I'm glad I'll always have these memories here to read over. Eventually I'll get this all printed out into a nice hard copy, but that'll be later on in the future.

In my efforts to find my niche in society, starting school for interior design, hoping one day to start my own business, and of course, my up coming marriage to Peter, I feel like it's time to start my new story and chapter with it's own style and taste.

So here's my grand question...what should I call this journal? What user name should I register for? Here are some of the options I've come up with...

adriannemkarpo...because that's my Twitter name and easy to remember. Or I can go for the full...adriannemkarpowicz...or adriannekarpowicz...sans the M. I've also considered just doing...adrianneschinkai...because that's who I'll be by this time next year anyways. But part of me finds that not so creative. So I've considered...comfortbyadrianne...which is what I'm hoping to name by business a few years from now. But the whole journal won't be about interior design and school and such. It's also going to be a bit more open now, although if there's anything majorly personal, I will of course hide it under friends only.

So...anybody have any name suggestions? Like one of the ones I've previously listed? I would love to hear them! Go!

Too tired to report anything else, but here's the end result...

Pete and I took Macy over to my parents' place for the dinner and we went to let her in the back with Lady. Macy ran in, didn't see the pool, and found out that gravity works. The good news was the pool was half full with poo water, but she was able to swim to the steps. Long story short, she shook out and got a bath and Mom and Dad's place. Sounds like she'll be a blast when the pool's actually in use this season.

It's pretty outside so Pete and I are gardening!

This is one of those books that makes you laugh and examine the way you look at your own faith. And if you're struggling to understand your own, it reminds you to laugh about it. Definitely a good book by one of my favorite comedians, writers, and commentators on life!

Peter's getting his wisdom teeth out today...FINALLY!! Sure, he's going to be sore for the next couple of days and cranky, but he'll never complain about those damn headaches and junk again!

I spent the night at Mom's last night so I could get to an early appointment at Dr. Quallich's this morning. As I was getting ready, there was a seqment on the...I think it was The Today Show...whatever...it was the one with Roker.

Anyways, they had a segment about Twitter and I'm strongly considering getting an account to keep up on some stuff and keep it short and sweet. One thing I liked is there were a lot of celebrities, writers, et cetera that have Twitters that I would follow.

What's got me set off from it a bit is a lot of people update with the convenience of phone. I don't have that with my phone. So I'm wondering if it's worth it.

I jogged last night! My legs are sore, but in a good way!

Tonight is Lynne's birthday party at the bowling alley! I can't wait to hang with everyone! Happy freakin' birthday girl!

Tomorrow's my eye doctor appointment! Can't wait for contacts!

Sunday I'm going shopping with Mom at Great Lakes Crossing!

Pete and I are hopefully setting a date next week for the wedding! Stay tuned!
