A Survey and My Morning
1. When you want to have "you" time, what do you do?
Play online and write.
2. Are you comfortable with answering personal questions?
Most times. I'm pretty open. Depends on what's being asked.
3. Have you ever cried and didn't know why?
Yeah, and I'm finding that it's happening more and more. Am I going soft here? I used to watch a movie with no problem, now like little things will set me off. Wtf?
4. When is the last time you were truly happy with your life?
Probably when I was at Western, doing my studies, and hanging with the guys over the weekends.
5. Have you ever found someone of your same sex sexy?
Sexy? Yes. Enough to shag them? Don't swing that way.
6. Do you think long distance relationships are ever really worth it?
I think that depends on how mature the couple is.
7. What did you do at your lowest point in life?
Cried. A lot. And it took a good amount of time and luck to get out of it. It sucked. Big time.
8. What brought you back from that?
I had to stand up for myself to the people I was closest to and completely remove myself from their own stupid problems and situations that they insisted on putting me in.
9. Have you ever envisioned your own wedding?
Oh yeah. I really should start planning that, shouldn't I?
10. When is the last time you personally made someone else cry?
Umm...probably when I did that standing up for myself. I think I scared them and they underestimated the amount of a backbone I have.
11. The last time you were kissed, where were you?
Downtown this morning. :)
12. Do you eat a healthy diet?
For the most part. Stupid Crohn's.
13. What part of your looks are you the most complimented on?
Umm...my hair?
14. Do you believe exes can really ever be "just friends?"
Oh yeah. I'm good friends with my closest exes. :)
15. Would you attend each of your ex's funerals?
I promised one I'd throw myself over his coffin, and the other one I'm sure I will shred an equal amount of tears.
17. Would you be able to date someone who had a kid with someone else?
Like I said before, it totally depends on the maturity of the couple. I wouldn't want to go into a relationship with a guy, to find out he's a dead beat dad and that the kid would have to become my responsibility. But if it was a completely mature relationship, yeah, I have no problem with kids.
18. When is the last time you were on a vacation?
I don't consider this flare up a vacation. So I'm going to say over New Years when I was down at the Lecanto house in Florida for a few days.
19. Do you make your bed every day?
Most days.
20. Are you too shy to tell people when you're developing feelings for them?
Well, I haven't had to for a long while. But once upon a time, I kind of waited to see if they felt the same. If it went on like that for a few weeks and they didn't say anything, I swallowed my bile and told them. :P
21. Do you use the Internet or television more?
Internet, but I like TV too.
22. Have you ever worn black nail polish?
No. Ew.
23. How much older than you is the oldest person you've kissed?
Not counting family or family friends, I think it was about two years.
24. How much younger is the youngest?
Again, two years.
25. Which celebrity have you been compared to most?
By looks, Lindsey Lohan and Reese Whitherspoon. The way I act...umm...Ellen Degeneres?
26. Do you have romantic feelings for anyone, and if so, do they know?
[kisses Pete] Oh yeah. He knows.
27. What are your plans for your future?
Marriage, travel, writing, getting the hell out of the lab and into an office with publishing equipment.
28. Do you want to be in a relationship right now?
Yeeesss...
29. If you could pack up and leave your life now to move away, would you?
If I had the money, in a heart beat. I'd get a loft in NYC, and sit and write until I'm published dammit!
30. Have you ever done any acting on stage?
Totally! I miss it.
31. Do you like being in pictures?
When I look alright, then yeah. Or I have to be happy looking at least.
32. Do you cry easily?
I swear I've seen this question before, or something like it.
33. Have you ever been more attracted to a significant other's sibling than them?
No, but I tell Peter all the time that his brother is the better dresser of the two. And it's true.
34. What is the last fun, free activity you did?
Downtown this morning with Peter. It was great. :)
35. Do you enjoy romance?
Totally, but not when it's cheesy. I hate cheesy romance.
36. Do you tend to fall for people easily?
Sometimes.
37. Have you spent more time in your life single, or in a relationship?
Single. I have my first official boyfriend when I was 16.
38. What person in your family are you the most like?
Umm...I'm kind of a mix of everyone. I've got Mom's socialbility, Dad's sense of humor, and some other traits from other relatives thrown in for good measure.
39. Are you quick to start a fight?
No. I only fight when it's needed.
40. Have you ever put anything other than cheese in your grilled cheese?
Ham! :D
42. Do your parents really know YOU?
I really don't think so. I mean, I don't think they would understand half of the stuff that I think about or my thought process throughout the day. I don't think they understand why I do somethings.
43. Have you ever felt invincible?
Nope.
44. How many cars have you owned?
Just one. Looking to get a new one when I get a new job though.
45. Do you get along well with your siblings?
Plea the fifth.
46. Would you rather be cheated with or on?
On. I could never cheat on someone myself.
47. Do you feel like you've got some growing up to do?
Not so much that. I just need to find a job that makes me feel and look more like a grown up. I've been trying to work on this.
48. Do you like to dress up?
If I dress up, it's for something special, and I do go all out. But otherwise, no I don't. I'm very happy in jeans and t-shirts. Very happy indeed.
49. Have you ever loved someone so much...?
Oh yeah.
50. Do you own a little black dress?
Indeed I do. :)
This morning was so great! Pete and I woke up and we decided to go to the Farmer's Market in downtown Farmington. We walked downtown and decided to have a bite at the little hole-in-the-wall Coney Island for breakfast. Oh man, it was so delicious, and for once I ate everything that was on my plate for breakfast. Unless it's cereal, that never happens! But I had a couple of pieces of french toast, two pieces of bacon, a fried egg, juice, and I even stole some of Pete's hash browns. It was so good.
Peter really wanted to get Starbucks (surprise surprise), so while he did that, I went to the beauty salon next door to get my eyebrows waxed. I couldn't take it anymore. I hadn't tweezed them since before I went in the hospital, and after being on the steroids for the past couple of weeks, there was no saving them anymore. Luckily, they charge great prices there, so I'll probably go back again. The girl who did my eyebrows was telling me that her sister has Crohn's disease too, so she knew exactly what I was talking about with how bad the hair had gotten.
After that we checked out the stands that the farmers had all set up. Oh man, I'm going back again next week possibly. We ended up getting peaches, tomatoes, green beans, a basket of blackberries, and then Peter bought a strawberry rubarb pie. I'm tempted to grab some corn on the cob one day, clean off the George Foreman grill and try doing my own corn roast one day. I figure I can season it up good and get some good flavor out of it. One things for sure. When Peter and I move out of the apartment, we're gonna get a good, outdoor grill and go nuts. At least I am. I love outdoor grilling.
Okay. I'm gonna clean up a little, and then I'm gonna go to the pool for a bit. It's nice out, I have a book, and my face doesn't look like I have mini yettis living on it anymore. :D
